Nicola Mining Strengthens Exploration Team with Key Geological Hire

Nicola Mining Inc. has strengthened its geological team with the appointment of Vicente García as Senior Geologist, bringing over seven years of specialized experience in porphyry, IOCG, epithermal, and lithium geological systems to the company's exploration efforts. García's expertise will be instrumental in advancing the company's 2025 exploration initiatives, with particular focus on the New Craigmont copper project, a high-grade copper property covering 10,913 hectares adjacent to Highland Valley Copper, Canada's largest copper mine.

CEO Peter Espig emphasized the strategic significance of García's appointment, highlighting the company's commitment to progressing its copper exploration portfolio. García will work alongside VP of Exploration Will Whitty to evaluate potential targets at the Treasure Mountain Silver Mine, further consolidating Nicola Mining's position within the mining sector. The New Craigmont Project, wholly owned by Nicola Mining, benefits from its proximity to established mining operations and represents a substantial opportunity for copper resource development.

García brings global experience from previous roles at major industry players including Anglo American and Dahrouge Geological Consulting, providing Nicola Mining with valuable insights into international exploration standards and methodologies. This appointment aligns with the company's broader strategy to enhance its technical capabilities and accelerate discovery efforts in copper-rich regions.

Beyond copper exploration, Nicola Mining operates a fully permitted mill and tailings facility near Merritt, British Columbia, capable of processing gold and silver mill feed.
