VueReal, a technology pioneer in microLED manufacturing, has secured USD $40.5 million in Series C funding to accelerate its production capabilities and expand its global technological ecosystem. The investment round, led by Export Development Canada (EDC), also included contributions from existing investors Cycle Capital, BDC Capital's Cleantech Practice, and TDK Ventures. This substantial financial backing represents a significant milestone in the commercialization of microLED technology, which has faced challenges in achieving cost-effective mass production.
The funding will enable VueReal to advance its award-winning MicroSolid Printing™ technology, which addresses critical challenges in microLED production by creating a cost-effective pathway for high-volume manufacturing. Dr. Reza Chaji, CEO of VueReal, emphasized the significance of the investment, stating that the capital will help scale mass production of microLED lighting and displays while empowering partners to enhance their production capabilities. The company aims to ensure seamless integration of its technology into production lines worldwide through its innovative manufacturing approach.
