Baselode Energy Launches 1,500-Meter Drill Program at Bear Uranium Project

Baselode Energy has commenced a 1,500-metre drill program at its Bear Uranium project located in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan. The exploration initiative represents a significant step forward in evaluating the uranium potential of this strategically important region. The program will consist of 6 to 8 drill holes targeting 3 to 4 different areas of interest within the project boundaries, with field crews already establishing logistical support and drill crews scheduled to arrive on-site within two weeks.

The company's approach incorporates helicopter support to accelerate drill targeting while minimizing environmental impact on the ground, demonstrating a commitment to both efficient exploration and environmental stewardship. Baselode Energy has secured all necessary permits to proceed with the program, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. Complementing the drilling activities, Baselode Energy completed a low-altitude, high-resolution airborne radiometric and magnetic survey on the Bear project in March. While final results are still pending, the company anticipates receiving this critical data before drilling commences. This advanced geophysical information will provide valuable insights for targeting and exploration planning, potentially enhancing the program's effectiveness in identifying mineralization.

Concurrent with the Bear project developments, the company has reported progress at its Catharsis Project, where 11 drill holes totaling 2,837 meters were completed across six different target areas. The exploration revealed encouraging signs of hydrothermal alteration and structures in two additional target areas, indicating potential mineralization. Baselode Energy plans to release detailed findings once all assay results have been received and thoroughly interpreted.

The company also completed a similar low-altitude, high-resolution airborne radiometric and magnetic survey on the Catharsis Project in April, providing complementary geological data for comprehensive analysis.
