Jeff Schwarz, owner of Direct Liquidation and Direct Auctions, has committed to a year-long initiative to support the Memorial Ribbon Society of Canada. Throughout 2024, he will be auctioning off donated items, with all proceeds going to the non-profit organization that assists the families of fallen police and peace officers. This sustained fundraising effort represents a significant commitment to supporting those affected by line-of-duty deaths in law enforcement communities across Canada.
The first auction in this series begins on Saturday, March 23, featuring a diverse range of donated items from Schwarz's business partners. The initial lots include a Moes sectional sofa, a signed Gordie Howe Team Canada jersey, a Bradley Original Smoker, a 36-volt electric bike, and five comprehensive mini auto detailing packages valued at $1,500. These high-value items are expected to generate substantial interest and competitive bidding, maximizing the fundraising potential for the Memorial Ribbon Society of Canada.
Schwarz emphasized the dual benefit for successful bidders, noting that participants not only acquire valuable items but also contribute to a meaningful cause. He stated that successful bidders can enjoy their purchases while knowing their money supports families and children of fallen law enforcement officers. Schwarz, also known as 'The Liquidator' from his television show that aired for five seasons in over 160 countries, brings extensive experience in online auctions and engaging with bidders through live events.
The auction is open for registration through Direct Auctions, allowing participants to bid online or set maximum bids if they cannot attend the live event. Throughout 2024, additional donated lots will be continuously added to maintain momentum and maximize fundraising for the Memorial Ribbon Society. This ongoing initiative represents a sustainable approach to supporting families affected by the loss of police and peace officers, leveraging Schwarz's 25 years of experience in the buying and selling business and his philosophy of creating win-win situations for all parties involved.
